1. Working Principle of Three-Way Catalytic Converter
A three-way catalytic converter is the core purification component of gasoline vehicles. It uses precious metals such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium as catalysts. Under a certain exhaust temperature, it carries out oxidation and reduction chemical reactions to convert harmful exhaust gases into harmless substances.
Carbon Monoxide (CO): Oxidized into harmless carbon dioxide (CO2).
Hydrocarbons (HC): Oxidized into carbon dioxide and water (H2O).
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx): Reduced into harmless nitrogen (N2) and oxygen.
The whole reaction realizes simultaneous purification of the three major harmful pollutants, hence the name "three-way" catalytic converter. The upgraded product achieves a faster light-off reaction at low temperature, effectively solving the problem of low purification efficiency during cold start.
2. Product Advantages and Universal Package Solution
This new catalytic converter adopts nano-scale honeycomb ceramic carrier and high-temperature sintered coating technology. The precious metal utilization rate is increased by 40%, and the comprehensive purification efficiency of exhaust gas exceeds 95%. The light-off temperature is as low as 200°C, which fully meets China VI b emission standards.
In terms of after-sales matching, the company launches universal three-way catalytic converter packages. The universal kits cover common displacement segments including 1.5L, 2.0L, 2.4L and 3.0L. It is compatible with sedans, SUVs and light commercial vehicles. The universal package features simple installation, strong versatility and low modification cost, which is suitable for after-market replacement and maintenance.

At present, the product has passed the inspection of the National Automobile Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. It will be officially put into mass production and supplied to domestic auto parts markets and complete vehicle manufacturers.
