Description:


Alumina ceramic foam filter plate is a new type of low density, high porosity and with three dimensional network skeleton structure of the filter. The producing procedure is as below, put carrier into the thixotropic alumina slurry, adopt square to center correcting automatic extrusion process, so that slurry evenly deposits in foam skeleton of carrier, after drying solidification, then carrier will turn into final product by roasting formed under 1180 ℃ high temperature. It is characterized by high porosity and mechanochemical stability and excellent resistance to thermal attack and corrosion from molten aluminum, It can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas and provide laminar flow when filtrating molten aluminum, it is machined to tight dimensional tolerance during production, this combination of physical properties and precise tolerance make them first choice for molten non-ferrous filtration.

Sealing gasket for Ceramic Foam Filter

Filter is surrounded by Sealing gasket, laying between filter and filter bowl, to prevent molten aluminum leaking through interface. Filter adopts sealing gasket in 3 different types, fiber paper material, fiber cotton material, expanding cotton material.

Application :

Apply to improve quality of aluminium alloy casting and other non-ferrous alloy casting.

Aluminum alloy bar choose: 10-30ppi

Long-term casting choose: 30-50ppi

High quality aluminum profile or plate choose :40 or 50ppi

Double zero wave continuous casting and rolling choose: >50ppi

Other specifications can be customized as your requirements


Usage Method:

1. Clean the filter box.

2. Put the filter plate into the filter box gently and press the sealing gasket around the filter plate by hand to prevent the liquid aluminium from flowing by.

3. Uniform preheating filter box and filter plate to make it close to the temperature of liquid aluminium casting.

4. Pay attention to the change of aluminium hydraulic head during casting. The normal starting pressure head is 75-150. When the molten aluminium begins to pass, the indenter will drop below 25 inches, and then the indenter will increase slowly.

5. After the filtration, remove the filter board and clean the filter box in time
